NIPRA Attends Joint Meeting

On Saturday, 10/29/2011 NIPRA Board Members Skip Sassmannshausen and Fred Lanahan attended the joint meeting of Midwest High Speed Rail Association and All Aboard Ohio (the Ohio rail passengers' association) in Cleveland, Ohio. They were able to take part in a great meeting on planned progress in passenger rail throughout the midwest and hear presentations on funding and rail development across the country. Read More.

NIPRA Comments on 2011 Indiana State Rail Plan

Celebrate Engine 765 Day this October

Celebrate the return of no. 765 to operation in October, 2005 with the locally recognized Engine 765 Day in Fort Wayne and Allen County. A special fall open house will be held at the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society's restoration shop, including an up close look at their recent preservation efforts, tours through the workshop, caboose rides, cab tours and the 765 performing for the public.
